3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/9/18

If you've been betting against Minnesota Timberwolves forward Taj Gibson to have slow night's recently, you've been doing it all wrong. The 10-year veteran has been on fire lately, and the flames are not likely to be put out tonight in a fantasy-friendly matchup against the Sacramento Kings.

The game should be one of the highest-scoring affairs of the night, and no wonder. The Wolves have scored at will in their past few matchups against Sacramento, scoring at least 111 in their past four.

The Kings are giving up the second-most DraftKings points per game to opposing power forwards this year, according to FantasyPros. Gibson should be licking his chops. He's seen 37 and 32 minutes of run his his past two games, a huge boost in run over the previous six games.

If he can get that kind of run again (which should happen as the game should be competitive), those who use him in fantasy should be happy. He's averaging 0.97 DraftKings points per minute, which means that in order to hit a value of 6.0 DraftKings points per minute at his $4,900 salary, he'll need to play roughly 30.4 minutes, which is more than doable.

We have a base projection of 24.2 DraftKings points for Taj this evening, but we have his upside at 37.9, a number which is well within his capabilities.
