3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/9/18

Tonight's game between the Brooklyn Nets and Denver Nuggets has a total set at just 212.5 points. I say "just" for a couple of reasons.

The average team is scoring 110.8 points per game this season, the highest team average since 1984-85. Plus, when these two teams have faced each other recently, points have flowed freely. They've scored a minimum of 216 points in each of their past five meetings, averaging 231.4 points per game in that span.

That bodes well for Spencer Dinwiddie's fantasy potential this evening. Dinwiddie was one of the few bright spots in a rough 2017-18 campaign for the Nuggets. Though D'Angelo Russell is fully healthy, Dinwiddie has once again shown the spark that made him a DFS favorite often last year.

After a relatively slow start to the season, Dinwiddie has scored at least 25.0 DraftKings points in five of his past seven games, largely because of a newly-discovered weapon. He's hitting 2.3 threes per game, 0.5 more than last year. He's shooting those at a 43.1% clip, by far the best mark of his career.

We see him continuing his success tonight against the Nuggets, projecting him for 29.0 DraftKings points. That equates to a value of 6.3 points per $1,000, the third-highest projected value on the slate.
