3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 11/5/18

The only player we project to score more points tonight than The Brow is Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, who we have down for 59.5 DraftKings points this evening. Judging by his recent play, it's easy to see why.

After missing the first two games of the season due to a knee procedure, Westbrook stepped on the court and started playing with the reckless abandon we've all come to expect. He's 2nd in the league in assists, 12th in scoring, and 2nd among all guards in rebounding (only Ben Simmons' 9.3 rebounds per game ranks higher than Westbrook's 8.5, and Simmons has seven inches on the guy).

He "only" finished with 53.75 DraftKings points in his last outing, which may have disappointed some who used him. He was a victim of his own success, however, as he did all of that in three quarters in a 23-point blowout win over the Washington Wizards.

It's hard to describe how good he's been recently against the Pelicans. So, I'll just list his last 12 performances from new to old (DraftKings points): 69.25, 53.25, 70, 74.25, 63.5, 67.5, 69.75, 63, 50.75, 68, 85.25, and 63.5. Yeah. That's 60 or more DraftKings points in 10 of his past 12 appearances against them.

The only way Westbrook is unlikely to hit those heights tonight is if we see another blowout. While possible, we'll take our chances on him.
