Karl-Anthony Towns, C, Minnesota Timberwolves

DraftKings Price: $8,500

The good thing about getting blown out on the first game of a back-to-back set is that you're almost certainly fresh for the second game. Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns played just 25 minutes last night as the Wolves lost 111-81 to the Portland Trail Blazers (who are once again surprising doubters with the third-best record in the Western Conference).

The Wolves will travel south along the West Coast to take on the Los Angeles Clippers tonight in what should be a much more even matchup; the Clippers are just 5.0-point favorites. Towns started the season with a DraftKings salary of $9,800, which was near the highest in the league. That number has since dwindled. Two 60-plus-point DraftKings scores got it back to $8,900, but consecutive poor performances have driven that back down to $8,500.

Towns has scored at least 48.0 DraftKings points in five of his past seven games against the Clippers. The Clippers, as it happens, have struggled with centers this season, giving up the eighth-most DraftKings point per game to the position, per FantasyPros.

We project Towns to score 40.7 DraftKings points tonight, with upside in the high 60s. The risk is high, but so is the reward.
