Kemba Walker, PG, Charlotte Hornets

DraftKings Price: $8,300

If you were using Charlotte Hornets point guard Kemba Walker on opening night, then you probably did pretty well for yourself. The eighth-year player out of UConn went absolutely nuts, hitting 15-of-29 shots (including 7-of-13 from deep), which was good for 41 points, the highest single-game total in the NBA so far.

Going into the season, Walker looked to be one of the players who would benefit most from a coaching change. New coach James Borrego wanted to push the pace, attack early in possessions, and emphasize the three, all of which suit Kemba well.

If Game 1 was any judge, the team has bought into the new system and its quirks. For example, Nicolas Batum was playing center as the Hornets came back from a 20-point difference to lose by just a point. There's small ball, and then there's playing Nic Batum for extended periods at center.

I digress. Kemba and the Hornets will go on the road tonight to face the Orlando Magic. His history against them has been rather chaotic. In the past three years, he's scored as many as 72 DraftKings points against them and as few as 15.

He did score at least 46.75 DraftKings points against them in three of his four meetings last season, however, and the one game in which he didn't, he only played 23 minutes because the Hornets were up by as much as 45 points. That's an encouraging sign, especially when coupled with the Hornets' new attacking philosophy.

We have Kemba projected for 40.8 DraftKings points tonight, with upside in the 60s. Though his price climbed $700 after his big game on Wednesday, he's still cheap for his potential.
