The Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers' injury report won't jump off the page like some of the others today, but the absence of Joel Embiid and Dario Saric completely changes the complexion of this team from a fantasy perspective. Ben Simmons is an obvious beneficiary, but among value plays, Robert Covington ($6,200), Ersan Ilyasova ($5,600), and Richaun Holmes ($4,300) all stand out.

Without Embiid and Saric on the court, Covington has seen a 6.2 percentage point usage rate bump while his DraftKings points per minute have risen from 0.88 to 1.19. He's an incredible value at a price tag that requires just 31 DraftKings points of him.

Ilyasova has also seen a bump as his usage rate is up 2.2 percentage points, and he has a very usable 0.98 DraftKings point per minute rate with Embiid and Saric sidelined. He needs 28 DraftKings points at this price tag, which he would hit in 27 minutes at that per-minute rate. In an individual matchup against Anthony Tolliver, that shouldn't be an issue.

Holmes has averaged 1.04 DraftKings points per minute without Embiid and Saric, which puts him firmly in play as a tournament option. This slate is full of appealing bigs, so don't feel like you need to lock him into cash lineups if you're a more risk-averse player. The risk with Holmes is that we really don't know where his minutes will be in this one. He logged 27 minutes of action last night due to a blowout win but was at just 17 the game before that. He needs just 21.5 DraftKings points, though, which he could hit in fewer than 21 minutes at a 1.04 DraftKings points per minute rate.
