He disappointed his last time out, putting up 23.5 DraftKings points in 29 minutes, but the important takeaway is that he was able to get up double-digit shot attempts again in nearly 30 minutes. In fact, his final line was nearly enough to hit value at this price, despite 2-of-12 shooting from the field. With some positive regression in that department, Payne could easily crush value tonight.

The Chicago Bulls have already declared Kris Dunn, Zach LaVine, and Lauri Markkanen out, which means Payne and Antonio Blakeney ($3,900) should log 25-to-30 minutes once again. Blakeney has been the stronger point-per-dollar play of late, but Payne possesses an average of 0.99 DraftKings points per minute on the year, while Blakeney comes in at just 0.78. Both are fine options against a Denver Nuggets squad that's struggled against opposing guards, with Payne being the higher-upside option of the two.
