T.J. McConnell, PG, Philadelphia 76ers

FanDuel Price: $3,600
Projected FanDuel Points: 18.6
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.17

As usual, it's pretty hard to justify paying down at point guard tonight. There are only two starters below $5,000, and they -- Tyler Johnson and George Hill -- aren't the most productive options. Instead of going in that direction, it would be smart to take a $1,000 discount from their price points and roll out T.J. McConnell off the Philadelphia 76ers' bench.

McConnell's price has fallen $600 since the team's last game and is at its lowest point since October. The point man's inconsistent minutes have caused this price drop. Of the team's three games since the break, he's played 30 minutes just once while playing 24 and 21 minutes in the two other contests. As a result, he's averaging a mere 16 FanDuel points over that span.

McConnell does have something going in his favor tonight, and that's the Miami Heat's tendency to play small. In their two games since coming back, the Heat have deployed Goran Dragic and Tyler Johnson together for the second-most minutes of all two-man combinations. Furthermore, the team's most-used five-man lineup (22 minutes) includes those two, combo-guard Josh Richardson and small four-man Justise Winslow. If there was anytime to utilize McConnell's defensive versatility, it's in this guard-heavy matchup.
