Since coming over to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Rodney Hood has taken on a consistent sixth-man role. Over five games, he's played more than 24 minutes four times while averaging 24.5 minutes off the bench. He played 28 minutes his last time out, his most since joining the team at the trade deadline.

Hood's minutes are trending in the right direction, and while he hasn't been killing it in fantasy (18.7 FanDuel points per) to this point, head coach Tyronn Lue has given voice to getting him more involved in the offense. After all, his usage has gone from 27.5% with the Utah Jazz to 16.9% alongside LeBron James and company.

If Hood continues to see 25-28 minutes and he becomes more of a priority offensively, there's no reason to miss out on him at this price. But that's not even considering tonight's opponent, the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are 22nd in defensive rating and their starting two-guard, D'Angelo Russell, ranks 90th at his position in the eyes of ESPN's Defensive Real Plus-Minus. Tonight is a prime opportunity for Hood to grow his role as an offensive playmaker and return big value from the shooting guard spot.
