3 NBA FanDuel Studs to Target on 1/12/18

The Cleveland Cavaliers' defense has been falling apart recently, and playing on the road on the second half of a back-to-back isn't going to help things at all.

The Cavs have allowed fewer than 110 points only once in five games in 2018, giving up at least 125 in three of those contests. Their defensive rating is the second-worst in the NBA, sitting only 0.4 points ahead of last place, while the gap between the Cavs and the next-worst team is twice that large. Especially concerning in tonight's matchup is that they allow opponents to take transition shots with the second-highest frequency in the NBA, as well as above-average scoring frequency on those shots.

The Indiana Pacers love to run the floor, ranking top-five in transition frequency, and that is an area in which they are led by Victor Oladipo, whose 5.2 transition possessions per game are the fourth-most in the league.

Dipo isn't hugely consistent for a guy in this price-range, but he makes up for that with a sky-high ceiling, topping 55 FanDuel points six times in his last 19 games, with three of those six having been performances of at least 68 fantasy points. The Cavs also allow top-five fantasy production to opposing shooting guards, and Oladipo is a threat to do some serious damage in this matchup.
