Chris Paul, PG, Houston Rockets

Price: $10,800

Chris Paul wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire in his first few games with James Harden out, but that changed on Wednesday when he lit up the Blazers for 37-7-11, notching 68.9 FanDuel points.

It felt almost inevitable that big fantasy nights were coming from Paul, thanks to some incredible efficiency in his minutes played without Harden this year. When we compare his numbers with Harden on and off the court, he sees significant jumps in usage rate (18.4% to 31.9%), assist rate (31.6% to 61.1%) and FanDuel points per minute (1.03 to 1.73). For context, the most FanDuel points per minute for any player (minimum 100 minutes played) this season is 1.50.

Paul also draws a terrific matchup tonight against the Suns. Phoenix plays at a top-three pace in the NBA while also ranking 28th in defensive rating, and unsurprisingly, that leaves them giving up top-five fantasy production to opposing point guards.
