Noah Vonleh, PF, Portland Trail Blazers

FanDuel Price: $3,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Power forward has many appealing on-paper plays tonight, including minimum-priced Cheick Diallo, who is fresh off of a 34.2-FanDuel-point double-double last night. In this game alone, daily fantasy players are likely to be more focused on Diallo and Alexis Ajinca, the posts on the other side of the ball, which should leave Noah Vonleh under-owned.

Why You Should Use Him:

Originally, it was expected that the injury to Jusuf Nurkic meant it was Meyers Leonard-time. Then the Portland Trail Blazers experimented with Al-Farouq Aminu at center for a bit.

It seems they have settled on Vonleh as the preferred option to close out the season as the big man has averaged 34 minutes over Portland's past two games. He's topped 21 FanDuel points in both of those games, despite tough matchups with the San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz, and he's topped 21 fantasy points in five out of his last six games.

Vonleh should find things much easier tonight against a banged-up New Orleans Pelicans frontcourt. According to NBAwowy.com, the Pels have played 979 minutes with both Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins off the court this season, and during those minutes, they have been predictably horrendous. Both their defensive efficiency (1.14) and rebounding rate (45.5%) sans their two stars would easily rank last in the league.

Vonleh should be able to combine the extra minutes and soft matchup to easily exceed value at this price. The fact that 2 of his past 10 games have went for single-digit FanDuel points is a troubling sign for cash formats, but the upside is certainly there at this price point. Target him with confidence as a salary-saving tournament option.
