Why He Will Go Overlooked:

10 days into the month of April, LaMarcus Aldridge has yet to top 30 FanDuel points and isn't likely to be a highly sought-after option on a nine-game slate.

Why You Should Use Him:

Head coach Gregg Popovich has gone on record to say that he will not be resting any of his starters in the remaining San Antonio Spurs games, so unless we hear otherwise, expect Aldridge to be somewhere near the 35-minute mark, which he has topped in seven of his past nine games.

He has been in and out of the lineup recently, but when he was seeing consistent minutes towards the end of March, he was putting up big numbers. He enjoyed a nine-game stretch in which he topped 30 FanDuel points in every game, with an average of 35.3.

If he is able to return to that level of production tonight, he will be a steal at his current price tag. While it certainly is no guarantee, his matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers surely elicits some optimism. Portland ranks 21st in defensive efficiency and 19th in rebounding rate, so it should come as no surprise that they have allowed the 5th-most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards.

Aldridge has played poorly enough recently to feel safe avoiding him in cash games. However, the numbers suggest he has plenty of upside in this matchup, and he warrants serious consideration in tournaments.
