Myles Turner, C, Indiana Pacers

FanDuel Price: $6,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are several appealing options at center, which should keep Myles Turner's ownership down. For starters, Karl-Anthony Towns has immense upside in an advantageous matchup against the Indiana Pacers.

In the mid-range, Dwight Howard has put up some big lines with Paul Millsap out and should continue to be popular against the Phoenix Suns. At the same price as Turner, both Brook Lopez and Jusuf Nurkic find themselves in good spots. In a middling on-paper matchup, Turner isn't likely to be on many daily fantasy radars.

Why You Should Use Him:

After about a month of uninspiring basketball, Turner has recently seen his numbers on the rise, and he comes into tonight's matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves on a hot streak. Outside of a 25-point blowout loss to the Toronto Raptors, Turner has averaged 13.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 34.8 FanDuel points in 33.7 minutes over his past seven games. Each of those games went for at least 30 FanDuel points.

Tonight, he will take on the Wolves, who have been middle-of-the-pack against big men from a fantasy perspective, allowing the 13th-most FanDuel points against opposing centers. They have been prone to allowing the occasional big game, though, thanks to Towns' inconsistency on defense.

Towns ranks 68th among 69 qualified centers in defensive real plus-minus this season, and in their one meeting, Turner scored 23 points and 33.2 FanDuel points on 10-of-14 shooting.

Turner has shown enough inconsistency that you can certainly justify a number of different centers over him in cash games. But given the way he has played recently, along with the positive matchup, he's viable in both cash formats and tournaments at his price tag.
