Marvin Williams, PF, Charlotte Hornets

FanDuel Price: $6,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Marvin Williams doesn't carry the star power or name recognition Kevin Love or Nikola Jokic does. With both of those players facing off in a high-scoring battle on Wednesday, Williams will assuredly take a backseat to the pair in DFS contests.

Richaun Holmes' big night on Tuesday will also grab some attention, particularly at a lower price tag. His Philadelphia 76ers teammate Dario Saric has been a favorite play as of late, too. All those options, combined with Williams' low profile will keep the Charlotte Hornet underowned.

Why You Should Use Him:

Williams has been on fire -- the Hornets' power forward has registered 30 or more FanDuel points in six of his last seven games, with three games of 40-plus. In the last two weeks, he is averaging 14.1 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 36.2 fantasy points per night. On Wednesday, Williams faces the Orlando Magic in a plus matchup that should keep the flames burning.

Ever since the All-Star break, the Magic have quietly picked up their pace, averaging the 11th-most possessions per game. Combine that with their 24th-ranked defensive efficiency and you see why opponents are scoring 108.3 points per game against them. For Williams specifically, the Magic rank 18th in fantasy points allowed to opposing power forwards, but that ranking has gotten worse since Aaron Gordon took over defending the four.

For all of the excitement Gordon brings to the table with his explosive dunks and offensive ability, he has been a liability on the opposite end, ranking 87th out of 94 qualified power forwards with a -0.84 defensive real plus/minus. When Williams faced Gordon and the Magic less than two weeks ago, he posted his second-best fantasy night of the year with 45.7 FanDuel points.
