Elfrid Payton has really been playing some incredible basketball recently, with three triple-doubles in his past five games. Excluding a 40-point blowout loss to the Charlotte Hornets, he has averaged 14.8 points, 11.3 rebounds, 10.8 assists, and 47.1 FanDuel points during that span.

Despite being heavy underdogs to the Golden State Warriors tonight, the Orlando Magic's 102.5-point implied team total is still 2.5 points higher than their season scoring average. The 218.5-point over/under in this game is the third-highest on the slate. Payton has averaged 29.2 FanDuel points this season when playing with an implied team total of at least 100 points, as opposed to 21.5 in all other games.

Given the way he has been playing lately, Payton is a high-upside play in this up-tempo game. The potential for blowout is a bit concerning, but if Orlando can keep this close, he should have no problem exceeding value at his price tag.
