In addition to additional playing time, Hernangomez will benefit from a positive game script. In games he has seen extra run this season, he has played much better in high-scoring games. In games he has played more than 25 minutes that New York also had an implied team total of at least 110 points, Hernangomez has averaged 35.6 FanDuel points. In games he's played 25-plus minutes that they haven't had that high of an implied team total, he's averaged 28.6 FanDuel points.

Combine the boost in minutes and the advantageous game script with a beautiful matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Brooklyn has combined a league-high pace with a 28th-ranked rebounding rate and defensive efficiency to be one of the easiest matchups available to opposing players.

Specifically against centers, Brooklyn ranks as the best possible matchup for Hernangomez on this slate, as the only team allowing more FanDuel points are his Knicks.

All things considered, Hernangomez looks like the best center play on the day at his price tag. He is a viable play in all formats.
