Jonas Valanciunas, C, Toronto Raptors

FanDuel Price: $5,700

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jonas Valanciunas is rarely popular due to the volatile nature of his production, and that isn't likely to change with the plethora of center options available on Friday.

At the top, we have DeMarcus Cousins in a tough matchup, but coming off back-to-back 50-plus FanDuel point performances. Just below him is Joel Embiid in a matchup he should dominate against the Portland Trail Blazers.

In the mid-price range, the likes of Rudy Gobert, Nikola Vucevic, Brook Lopez, Dwight Howard, and Myles Turner are all in decent spots and should deflect a large chunk of ownership from Valanciunas.

Why You Should Use Him:

It's always tough to feel confident in what you're going to get from Valanciunas on a nightly basis, but it has been more good than bad recently for those who have rolled the dice on the talented young big man. Over his past five games, he has double-doubled four times, posting a 31.7-FanDuel-point average during that time.

He draws a great matchup against the Charlotte Hornets, who have allowed the third-most FanDuel points per game to opposing centers. They've allowed the ninth-most points in the post and the fifth-most points to opposing bigs in the pick-and-roll, both areas in which Valanciunas excels.

He did flop in a dream matchup against Brooklyn just three days ago, which is just a testament to his maddeningly inconsistent game-to-game play. He isn't someone you can trust in cash games at this stage in his career. However, he has big-time upside on Friday and he provides lots of salary relief, making him a viable tournament option.
