Derrick Rose, PG, New York Knicks

FanDuel Price: $6,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Derrick Rose isn't often a popular daily fantasy option when both Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis play, and given his recent off-court issues, he is unlikely to be a hot commodity, even in a revenge game.

Why You Should Use Him:

There was some concern Rose would see his minutes limited in his return to the lineup, but he logged 32 minutes and put up 33.4 FanDuel points. That output was right in line with the 30.3 FanDuel points he averaged in his 10 previous games.

To be fair, Rose did a lot of that damage while playing as one of the few healthy players for a New York Knicks squad that was very banged up. However, his revenge matchup against the Chicago Bulls should be enough to overcome any potential loss of offensive involvement with the return of his teammates. In his first meeting with his former team, Rose was very aggressive, taking 16 shots on his way to 40.9 FanDuel points.

The Bulls have been middle-of-the-pack against point guards from a fantasy perspective, but the likes of Rajon Rondo and Michael Carter-Williams can both be exploited on the defensive end.

Rose's inconsistency takes him out of cash game consideration, but he has the potential to crush value at his price tag, making him an excellent tournament play.
