Cleveland's Trevor Bauer (finger) leaves game in first inning

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Trevor Bauer was forced out of the ALCS Game 3 on Wednesday after only two-thirds of an inning, as the stitches in his finger came loose.

What It Means:

Cleveland hasn't ruled Bauer out for the remainder of the series, but being up 3-0 against the Toronto Blue Jays, they likely won't need him, and that will afford him plenty of rest before the World Series.

Our models give Cleveland a 40.3 percent chance of winning the World Series -- the best odds among the four remaining teams.
