Rays scratch Tyler Glasnow (back) from Sunday start; Erasmo Ramirez to start instead
The Tampa Bay Rays have scratched Tyler Glasnow (back) from their lineup for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Glasnow was slated to start for the Rays today, but began experiencing back spasms late last night. He has since been scratched from the lineup, while Erasmo Rodriguez will take the mound in his place. Hopefully Glasnow won't miss more than a single pass through the Rays' rotation.
Ramirez will be a step down from Glasnow for fantasy, and is projected to score over 10 fantasy points fewer (30.7) than Glasnow was projected to score earlier in the day (42.4). Our models have Ramirez, who has a $5,500 salary on FanDuel, to pitch 5 innings with 5.4 K, 1.6 ER, and 0.4 W.
