Jacob deGrom ($12,100 on FanDuel): If Jacob deGrom's price surprised you in how high it is, rest assured that you are not alone. It is mighty lofty, up $1,800 from where it was in his last start. That doesn't mean he's not worth it, though. DeGrom has turned his results around recently, lasting at least eight innings in each of his past three starts while keeping his swinging-strike rate up at 13.4%. His biggest flaws this year have been walks and hard contact, but the Philadelphia Phillies are 20th and 21st in those two categories, respectively. They add to deGrom's appeal by striking out at a 23.3% clip. His price could help keep his ownership in check, making him a better play for tournaments than he would have been otherwise.
