Charlie Morton, Pittsburgh Pirates

Yahoo Ownership: 13%
ESPN Ownership: 20%

Charlie Morton has thrown consecutive quality starts against playoff-caliber teams and has a chance to extend that streak against weak offenses from Miami and Colorado. His SIERA and xFIP being lower than his 4.06 ERA should help ease any concerns for fantasy owners.

The Marlins possess second worst slugging and OPS at the friendly confines and have the ninth worst OBP. Miami has run away and hid with the G/F title, pacing the majors at home with a 1.30 ratio, 0.25 higher than the aforementioned Atlanta Braves. Miami is the only team without 140 extra base hits in their own park.

The Rockies continue to be a poor road offense, scoring a meager 3.48 runs per contest. Their .235 team average is second worst on the road, and they are last in baseball with a .284 road on base percentage. Colorado is prone to strikeouts as witnessed by their 8.86 average per road game, and their 125 walks are tied for the worst in the National League.
