Nathan Karns, Tampa Bay Rays

Yahoo Ownership: 35%
ESPN Ownership: 33%

Nathan Karns gets two starts this week, but the focus will be on his Tuesday meeting with the Minnesota Twins at home. Karns has allowed three runs or more once in the last month and get to face a team that, despite a four-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles in Baltimore, is a cellar-dwelling road offense.

The Twins claim the worst road average and slugging percentage in baseball and the second worst OBP and OPS. The four game sweep of the O’s put Minnesota 12 games under .500 on the road. To put that in to perspective, only the Boston Red Sox have a worse road record in the American League. Minnesota averages a home run every 44 at-bats, fifth worst on the road in 2015.
