David Peralta, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

With an implied team total of a whopping 5.52 runs, David Peralta, who's off to a hot start, will likely be a popular play. He bats in a premium lineup spot (often cleanup) in a lineup that's been fantastic. And, they are in Denver. What's not to like?

Peralta's current .368 wOBA is certainly nothing to sniff at, but regardless of that hot start, his platoon splits are downright terrifying. Peralta locks horns with Tyler Anderson of the Colorado Rockies, and for his career, the outfielder owns only a .295 wOBA, 22.9% strikeout rate, and 29.3% fly-ball rate against same-sided pitchers.

Peralta has been brilliant at the dish to begin 2019, but even a contest at Coors Field can't offset this lefty-lefty matchup.
