Is the surging Eric Hosmer worth a look tonight? After a monster weekend with two home runs and six hits, the still-cheap Hosmer could seem like a sneaky play against Mike Soroka of the Atlanta Braves.

While Soroka has only 36 1/3 MLB innings to his name, they've been some outstanding frames against lefties. Over 78 total batters faced (beware: small sample sizes), Soroka has allowed a .271 wOBA and microscopic 18.5% fly-ball rate.

This contest also has an over/under of 9.0 runs, so ownership could be high here (especially on the Braves' side). Despite his hot run, Hosmer may not be worth it today.
