Let's start with Kluber's opponent tonight, the Atlanta Braves, who rank 12th in team wOBA (.332) against righties this season. They also rock a juicy fly-ball rate of 38.4% (11th best), and they have shown solid plate discipline with an 13.0% walk rate, a league-best mark.

All of that ignores that this doesn't seem to be the same ole' Corey Kluber. Over his first 19 innings this campaign, he sports a 10.8% walk rate, a 44.3% hard-hit rate, and 42.6% fly-ball rate.

With a scary batted-ball profile against a strong offense, Kluber makes for a simple fade.
