Bryce Harper in Coors Field against a right-handed pitcher is an auto play, right?

Not so fast, my friends.

This ain't any righty he's facing tonight. After a brilliant second-half campaign for German Marquez, he's started four games in 2019 with 27 innings pitched, a 2.00 ERA, and 25.0% strikeout rate. That'll play.

While Marquez has dominated same-sided hitters as one could expect, he's actually been pretty nasty against lefties, holding them to a .203 wOBA, .196 slugging percentage, and 28.9% fly-ball rate.

Priced up to take into the Coors Field effect, it may better to spend elsewhere tonight on this monster main slate.
