Elvis Andrus, SS, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $3,200

As the second-most expensive shortstop on the main slate, Elvis Andrus of the Texas Rangers could see some heavy ownership in a date with Matt Harvey of the Los Angeles Angels. Harvey's 4.94 ERA and 38.9% hard-hit rate from 2018 seem tantalizing, but a deeper look shows that righties struggled against him.

Versus right-handed hitters in 2018, Harvey posted a solid 31.9% fly-ball rate, 3.88 xFIP, and .326 wOBA over 322 total batters faced. It's even more troublesome when you notice Andrus was far more impactful with the platoon advantage. Last year, he was better across the board when facing lefties, toting a .316 wOBA (.287 against righties), .154 ISO (.092), and 36.2% fly-ball rate (28.8%).

The Rangers have been strong at the dish so far this year, but this is not a great spot for Andrus.
