Given the lack of offense, it stands to reason that the pitching is actually pretty good for an abridged slate. For that reason, there's a chance that picking the right one could go a long a way towards moving up the leaderboards, and should the chalk pitching tank, if you're off of them, you could be sitting pretty by the end of things.

The aforementioned Castillo, Zack Greinke, Stephen Strasburg, and Shane Bieber should all see some ownership, but the masses might be off Anibal Sanchez, who draws an Arizona Diamondbacks squad with the third-highest implied total on the board (4.44).

But Sanchez's season-long marks are in the same range as tonight's other top options, with a solid 3.87 SIERA, 24.0% strikeout rate, and 7.5% walk rate. He's also shown nice batted-ball numbers, allowing a 28.0% hard-hit rate and 23.3% soft-hit rate.

Furthermore, Arizona doesn't have the most imposing marks against right-handed pitching, with just an 81 wRC+ and 23.8% strikeout rate for the year. At a very reasonable price point, it might be worth taking a shot on Sanchez if you want to differentiate your lineup.
