As good as Robbie Ray was in 2017, when he recorded a 3.53 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) and 32.8% strikeout rate, 2018 has been a major step back for the southpaw.

He has still flashed some strikeout goodness with a 29.7% rate, but that SIERA has risen up to 3.99, and he's posted an ugly 42.4% hard-hit rate.

He will need to be on his game tonight, as he faces a Los Angeles Dodgers lineup that leads the league in team weighted on-base average (wOBA) over the last two weeks with a .365 mark.
