Maybe it's the Coors Field jitters, but German Marquez seems underappreciated and criminally under-owned for the fantasy season's homestretch. The 23-year-old Colorado Rockies hurler has frankly been one of the best pitchers in baseball since the start of July, with 2.76 ERA across 58.2 frames that's certified by a 2.80 FIP and a 22.8% strikeout-minus-walk rate.

There's no excuse for leaving Marquez on the wire this week, as he draws a road date in the ever-accommodating Petco Park against a Padres team with a .298 on-base percentage and 26.3% team strikeouts against right handers over the last 30 days.
