Anibal Sanchez, Atlanta Braves

Starts: August 14th vs. Miami Marlins, August 19th vs. Colorado Rockies
ESPN ownership: 47.4%

Before getting in the way of a Michael Taylor comebacker during his last start, Anibal Sanchez had been pitching to an impressive 3.09 second-half ERA, with five quality starts in his previous six appearances.

The strong work from Sanchez looks legit, too. The Atlanta Braves' righty has certified his strong ERA with a nearly identical 3.10 fielding independent pitching (FIP) since the start of July, plus a 19.4% strikeout-minus-walk rate that harkens back to his salad days with the Detroit Tigers.

Braves manager Brian Snitker seems confident that Sanchez won't miss a start, which is quite fortunate indeed considering the veteran is slated for one of the friendliest two-steps of Week 20. Miami has been especially punchless against righties over the last month, scraping by on an MLB-worst .107 group isolated slugging (ISO). Meanwhile, Colorado's lineup continues to look shaky away from Coors, posting a middling .702 team OPS on the road since the start of July.
