Mike Zunino, C, Seattle Mariners

Mike Zunino has done some really solid work against southpaws over the last few years. In 190 plate appearances since the start of the 2016 season, he has tagged them for a 39.8% hard-hit rate, 14.3% soft-hit rate and 49.0% fly-ball rate, which has translated to a .345 wOBA and .253 ISO.

Texas Rangers lefty Mike Minor isn't likely to slow down that success. MInor has been beaten up on to the tune of a 40.6% hard-hit and 45.5% fly-ball rate by right-handed bats in 2018, and that contact has translated to a .380 wOBA and 4.71 xFIP.

Our models have Zunino as a top-five point-per-dollar value play.
