Another guy who can really crush southpaws, Anthony Rendon ranks 18th in average exit velocity in the split over the past two years.

He has a 40.4% hard-hit rate, 12.8% soft-hit rate and 50.5% fly-ball rate against lefties since 2017, and he has had no trouble turning that into production, notching a .436 wOBA and .310 ISO.

San Diego Padres lefty Eric Lauer does not make for a scary matchup, either. His first five MLB starts have seen him struggle to the tune of an egregious 8.14 ERA, 5.08 SIERA and a double-digit walk rate while he has been crushed for a 44.9% hard-hit rate, 9.0% soft-hit rate and 36.5% fly-ball rate.
