Shohei Ohtani, OF, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $4,400

Shohei Ohtani mania is at its peak, as the Japanese import continues to shock everyone with his scorching hot start toward a two-way superstar. While the pitching was expected to be the main story, it's his bat that has the baseball world abuzz, with Ohtani already slugging three home runs while posting a .494 wOBA and .423 ISO.

No one knows what kind of hitter Ohtani will be in the long run, but it's hard to not be impressed by the early returns. However, in spite of all the hype, between his salary and low spot in the batting order, he should continue to remain low-owned if he's back in the lineup again on Friday.

In reality, for such an unknown commodity Ohtani is vastly overpriced, but he's a way you can differentiate a Los Angeles Angels stack against Jason Hammel. Hammel posted a modest 4.65 SIERA and 18.0% strikeout rate in 2017, and doesn't look any better so far this year. Furthermore, as long as rain doesn't become an issue, we could have strong winds blowing out as a boost to hitters in Kansas City.
