The Minnesota Twins blew up for 16 runs last night, and set a major league record by homering in each of the first seven innings. It's a remarkable achievement, but they should have a tougher time getting it going against Dinelson Lamet. The implied team total may sit at 4.88, but this is no cupcake matchup against a guy with a 3.89 SIERA and 29.7% strikeout rate. Lamet does struggle with free passes, but with quality starts in four of his last five outings, this doesn't exactly have the looks of another Twins explosion.

Brian Dozier is therefore too risky given his high price, particularly without the platoon advantage tonight.
