Julio Teheran, SP, Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Price: $8,000

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Some studs litter the pitching landscape tonight, including new Houston Astro Justin Verlander, Zack Greinke, Danny Salazar, Stephen Strasburg, and Jacob deGrom. These five should see the lion's share of ownership tonight.

Sporting a 6.54 home ERA this season -- and returning to his home confines -- Julio Teheran of the Atlanta Braves isn't likely to be a popular choice.

Why You Should Use Him:

While the home numbers have been a bit rough for Teheran, his recent form shows he could be in line for a big final month.

August was Teheran's best stretch this season. Over 37 innings pitched, he recorded a 3.65 ERA and whiffed 24.5% of hitters -- his monthly best -- while walking only 6.6% of batters, also a monthly best.

His swinging-strike rate in recent starts has been excellent, too -- over his last eight starts, he's been at 9.0% or better six times, including double-digits on four occasions.

Facing a Texas Rangers squad that strikes out 23.6% of the time against right-handed pitching (seventh-worst in MLB), Teheran could make for a sneaky pitching pivot.
