Chris Flexen will take his 12.00 ERA and 6.56 SIERA, both slate worsts, into tonight's start against the Texas Rangers, who rank sixth as a team in hard-hit rate (34.3%) against right-handed pitching.

A big contributor to that number is Rougned Odor, who has a 41.0% hard-hit rate over the past month and a 38.7% hard-hit rate against righties on the year. He's seen his slugging percentage rise from .231 against lefties to .483 against righties, and if any night was the one for his bad luck on balls in play to correct itself, it would be this matchup against Flexen.
