The Texas Rangers have a 5.51 implied team total under the hot Texas sun, but since coming off the disabled list in June, Felix Hernandez has a 3.98 xFIP and 24.3% strikeout rate, so let's not stick a fork in him just yet. Against righties in that span, his numbers jump to an impressive 3.15 xFIP and 31.6% strikeout rate.

This makes using an already overpriced Elvis Andrus all the less appealing. He may have a career-high 14 home runs this year, but he has just a 29.3% hard-hit rate and .292 xwOBA. Like Nunez, his speed might make up for the paltry xwOBA to some degree, but we shouldn't buy into any newfound power.

If you want to target Rangers hitters against Hernandez, you're better off sticking with southpaws. Going back to the start of 2016, he has just a 17.3% strikeout rate against them.
