Max Scherzer isn't far behind Sale in many stats, ranking second among qualifying pitchers in all of SIERA (2.71), strikeout rate (35.7%), and swinging strike rate (16.2%).

He has double-digit strikeouts in 9 of his last 10, with over 40 FanDuel points in each of those games, including 60-plus in 6 of those 10.

Scherzer doesn't quite have the floor that Sale does, traveling to the hitter-friendly Chase Field to take on an Arizona Diamondbacks team that has a 102 wRC+ against right-handed pitching. But the D-Backs also strike out at a top-12 rate (22.6%) against righties, leaving Scherzer with no shortage of upside.
