Chris Sale has been absolutely absurd in 2017, with a 36.4% strikeout rate, 16.3% swinging strike rate and 2.49 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), all three of which are the best marks among this season's 72 qualifying pitchers.

He has double-digit strikeouts in 13 of his 19 starts, including 5 of his last 6, with that 6th game having seen him fan 9. He hasn't racked up fewer than 40 FanDuel points in a start since May.

Those strikeout numbers are strong enough that even against a Los Angeles Angels team that doesn't strike out at a high rate against southpaws (19.1%), he offers no shortage of upside.

The Angels also boast a weak 84 wRC+ against lefties, and have a low 3.17 implied total, while the Boston Red Sox are big favorites (-195 moneyline).
