R.A. Dickey, SP, Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Price: $7,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Baseball is back! Thank goodness -- these days really seem to drag on without it. As the league picks back up after the All-Star break, a few high-priced aces are sure to see a ton of ownership, including Jacob deGrom, James Paxton and Carlos Carrasco.

R.A. Dickey of the Atlanta Braves, a far cheaper option, will be faced with a tough test against a stout Arizona Diamondbacks offense (ninth in team wOBA at .328). Sporting a 5.12 SIERA, Dickey will probably not be a popular choice.

Why You Should Use Him:

While Dickey may not have the most attractive advanced metrics, he's been very tough to hit as of late. Over Dickey's last four starts, which span 27 innings pitched, he's allowed only three earned runs.

In addition, Dickey's bumped up that strikeout rate to 22.6%, while dialing back the free passes, issuing only six (5.9% walk rate).

Dickey's .214 wOBA allowed over those starts show how nasty he's been, and he makes for a sneaky upside play.
