Denard Span, OF, San Francisco Giants

FanDuel Price: $2,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The Los Angeles Dodgers are crushing homers at a record rate, and their outfield -- namely studs Cody Bellinger and Joc Pederson -- are a huge part of that equation. Against Ricky Nolasco, they are likely to see a ton of ownership.

Coming back home with an implied team total of only 3.94 runs, the Giants and Denard Span probably won't draw a lot of attention their way.

Why You Should Use Him:

Manning the leadoff spot, Span has quietly put up a strong 2017 campaign, including a .146 ISO. That number may not jump off the page, but if it holds, would be the highest mark of Span's career.

Span will also get a righty tonight in German Marquez of the Rockies, and he's far more effective against right-handers this season.

Span has posted a .329 wOBA against righties (versus a mark of .309 against lefties), and his ISO improves at home against righties to a mark of .169.

Marquez, meanwhile, has been hit decently hard by left-handed bats. They've logged a .333 wOBA against him, including a 36.8% hard-hit rate and a 34.5% fly-ball rate.

With the Giants' home park ranking 23rd in park factor and last in home run factor over the last three seasons, Giants aren't always the most trendy of picks. Tonight, however, Span and crew could make for a sneaky play (outside of Posey, of course, who likely won't be under-owned).
