Scooter Gennett, 2B, Cincinnati Reds

Be honest, how many of you actually had Scooter Gennett last night? And if you did, he was probably solely a punt to fill out a Cincinnati Reds stack, and you hoped he would stumble into some RBI chances.

Well, Gennett showed once again why baseball is so crazy sometimes, pulling off one of the most unlikely top offensive performances of all time. His four-homer outburst netted him 98.8 points on FanDuel and 71 points on DraftKings. Needless to say, if you rostered him last night, you came out looking pretty good.

But don't let those rose-colored glasses convince you to double-down. Sure, Lance Lynn can be had by lefties, but do you really think lightning will strike twice for a guy who, until yesterday, hadn't hit a home run since April 11th?

If Gennett gets rewarded a surprise spot high in the order, then he's cheap enough to put back on your radar, but if he's back towards the bottom as usual, let others chase the points.
