Yu Darvish, SP, Texas Rangers

This is one I hope I don't end up regretting, but DFS is nothing if not making hard choices, right?

We know what Yu Darvish is capable of doing. He has four 50-plus point FanDuel games, including one over 60. The guy has GPP-winning upside.

But overall, he hasn't been quite as dominant in 2017. His 4.02 SIERA and 25.9% strikeout rate aren't up to his usual standards, and he has a 38.3% hard-hit rate over his last three starts. Walks have also been an issue this season (10.0% rate).

Furthermore, the New York Mets come in with a deceptively difficult 105 wRC+ and 19.0% strikeout rate against righties, and good hitting weather is expected in Texas. They have a 4.29 implied team total.

Sure, Darvish could still pull off a gem tonight. But with Greinke and Keuchel both in better form and better matchups, he's unlikely to outperform either of them, and has a far riskier floor.
