4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/7/17

Yu Darvish has continually shown his upside this year, but he's better off being avoided on Wednesday. Who else should you leave off your MLB DFS rosters?

Unlike last night, when we had a dizzying number of high-upside pitchers, the answer is a lot simpler on tonight's main slate.

In cash, it boils down to Zack Greinke ($10,700) and Dallas Keuchel ($10,900), who have both been sensational this year. I've typically been reluctant to roster Keuchel, but it's tough to argue with his floor given his improved strikeout rate and elite batted-ball profile. That said, the edge arguably goes to Greinke, who gets everyone's favorite strikeout-inflator, the San Diego Padres.

As for tournaments, it's hard not to notice what Jimmy Nelson ($8,900) has been doing, who has 21 strikeouts over 15 innings in his last two starts. Unfortunately, Tampa Bay Rays call-up Jacob Faria isn't in the player pool, who would have been an intriguing play against the Chicago White Sox. This season in Triple-A, he has 84 strikeouts in 58 2/3 innings.

We may not have Coors Field on the main slate, but we do have Bronson Arroyo! The St. Louis Cardinals have been disappointing lately, but it will be tough to pass up the opportunity to attack Arroyo in Great American Ballpark. Arroyo has given up 19 home runs, the most in the majors.

Okie dokie, let's run through four guys to consider leaving out of your lineups tonight.
