If you're looking to be contrarian, don't let me stop you from using Paul Goldschmidt. He's playing in a great ballpark, and we know what he's capable of doing.

But the Arizona Diamondbacks' 4.43 implied team total hides the fact that they're actually a risky play. Opposing pitcher Gerrit Cole has been in good form this year, with a 3.40 SIERA, 24.4% strikeout rate, and 5.2% walk rate.

Against righties, Cole has a career 54.0% ground-ball rate and 25.3% hard-hit rate.

With the right-handed Goldschmidt priced higher than most Coors bats, given the matchup, it's not an optimal spot to spend up. Only go here if you're looking for a low-ownership GPP play.
