Ben Gamel, OF, Seattle Mariners

Since Mitch Haniger went down, Ben Gamel has been doing his best Haniger impression by batting out of the two-hole for the Seattle Mariners. With a .373/.475/.588 line and 41.7% hard-hit rate, it's hard to argue with the results.

However, his price has slowly risen, and he has a less than stellar matchup against Marco Estrada, who has a 25.4% strikeout rate and 25.4% hard-hit rate.

Also, with a .515 BABIP, we can expect some major regression coming Gamel's way. His .216 isolated power (ISO) also looks unsustainable. Last year, he only had a .104 ISO in 57 major league plate appearances, along with a .112 ISO in 533 Triple-A plate appearances.

As long as the price is right, hitting near the top of lineup should keep Gamel in the conversation on future slates. But tonight, you can find better value in other spots.
