Robert Gsellman, New York Mets

ESPN ownership: 13.3 percent

Yahoo! ownership: 22 percent

Robert Gsellman doesn't get nearly the amount of pub that is showered on his New York Mets rotation mates, but that might change if he continues his build on the strong work he displayed against the Phillies last week.

The young righty's unimpressive 5.00-plus ERA doesn't credit the skills that have lead him to a tidy 2.98 xFIP on the young season, with his suspicious 18.2 percent homer-per-fly rate indicating that Gsellman has been a bit snake-bitten by batted-ball misfortune.

Gsellman's luck should improve this week against an Atlanta Braves team that has experienced a bit of an offensive swoon over the past week. Atlanta leads the league in out-of-zone swing rate over that span, a trigger-happy approach that Gsellman could exploit with his excellent curveball, which has limited opposing hitters to a .393 OPS over a 42-pitch sample so far this year.

Pitching streamers might bristle at the away date against the fearsome Washington Nationals offense this weekend, though the Nats' subpar hard-contact mark over the past week could mean that their torrid early-season power binge might be on the downswing. For what it's worth, Washington has been decidedly subpar against the curve on the season, though this might be faint reassurance for risk-averse streamers in weekly lock leagues, who should indeed tread lightly here.
